The Quechee Lakes Company is Quechee's largest residential real estate firm and has set the standard for building luxury residential properties in Vermont. It is owned by an affiliate of Taurus Investment Holdings, LLC of Boston, Massachusetts, an international real estate company.

Taurus initially purchased the majority interest in 2005, and purchased the remaining interest in the winter of 2007. The company's principals also own second homes in Quechee.
