Quechee Lakes is close to some of the best cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the country. There are 35 miles of trails within Quechee Lakes where residents can test their endurance, and find some peace and solitude in the deep woods.

Wilderness Trails at the Quechee Inn offers outdoor enthusiasts 18 kilometers of beautifully groomed trails that meander near the spectacular Quechee Gorge and waterfall, and through the gently rolling terrain of the Marshland Farm.

The Woodstock Inn Ski Touring Center in nearby Woodstock boasts some of the country's finest and most scenic cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The Center has two separate trail systems totaling 60 kilometers.

In addition to cross-country and snowshoeing, Quechee Lakes offers a full range of downhill and snowboarding options as well.
